I think the diesel is a great engine.
I also love the hemi, great engine with loads of power and good performance for such a big vehicle.
The hemi fuel economy really is crap compared to the diesel, but you can get a petrol GC (hemi or v6) in stock and at a substantial discount. In fact I got the overland hemi for almost $5k less than the CRD. Plus I took delivery within 1 week from stock rather that waiting up to 6 months for delivery of a diesel. That $5k will cover the cost of the extra fuel for 4 or 5 years with the amount of klms I do, and as far as I'm concerned the fuel economy is the only real advantage the CRD has.

Well the deal has been done.

I'll be the owner of a new bright silver diesel Grand very soon.

Congrats and be happy in the fact you’ve made the right decision.

How’s this for a diesel – I planted it from a standing start the other day and the tyres gave out a squeal, I looked around to see who it was until I realised it was me!!
