Hey bmackin, good looking setup. Just wondering how essential you reckon removing the front air dam was for the LCMP action?

And how long did it take to get it off? And back on?

I tried to take mine off before the Border Track, and gave up.

Cheers

You could realistically have it off in under 3 minutes.

There are 7 big 1/4 turn clips that are reasonably accessible and then you have to tug on it starting at each side.

I got the 7 clips off but didn't want to tear the front off...

So you pull straight ahead?

Yeah straight ahead, the tabs are very tight, they have a locking (for lack of a better word) 'barb' at the end, its fair to say it does not want to come off or go back on for that matter. Convince it.

I have put pressure from the inside of the bar on the 'barbs' you can reach. You will have to put supporting pressure on the bar from the inside when putting it back on.

Well at the risk of hijacking bmackin's thread (sorry)... any damage numb thumbs when you didn't remove it? Trailhawk, would you always remove it?

I would've thought a lift or quadralift would be enough to take it out of the way. Especially if you remove the little down wings in front of the wheels.

It's never enough. You'll damage it or rip it off if you need more approach angle. I always take mine off when going offroad and put it back on after a wash.
