Default power steering fluid what have people used?

Penrite PAS semi-synthetic $27.50 at SCA. Compared to ATF 4 at $31 a litre as recommended by the dealer... I bought the Penrite, don't trust the dealer.

Anyone know how much the whole system would take? I wanna flush the old stuff out (Valvoline Formula F - doh!) before swapping my pump over.

I bought the Nulon Multi Vehicle at $12 p/500mL ($24 p/L) as it meets the spec too. I bought 2L and used maybe 1.75 to do a full flush.

That said, I did this to try and stop a groan that turns out wasnt even from my PS Pump... so I'm still enclined to think that regular stuff works fine haha

Check GoJeep's site on a good way of doing it. I pumped mine out with a transfer pump and in hine sight I should have done it differently as I still have traces of DX3 in it. I went through four litres where I should have got away with about 2L.
