I don't run a provent myself but I think the oil build up will be in the intercooler, they are known to collect over a litre of oil. Maybe a clean out is required?

About 3-4 thousand kilometres ago, I had the intercooler out for 48 hours drained it in various positions and washed it out with petrol and drained every which way again.
The provent filter was put in around 20,000klm ago and elephant adaption on the provent exhaust 3-4000 ago.
Maybe the crankcase oil by pass collects in other places as well...takes a while for it to get out of the system.
That's the only possible explanation ????
