I have run a 4" drop tow bar tongue also, but still not enough.
The tents drop side is totally enclosed so its a must to have at the right height.
If it really bothers me in the future, could always get the floor re stitched in with a few extra inches then sort the trailer but for now its ok.

Ahh buggar, is the floor fully stiched or is it zippered in, two reasons!
First zip in floors are great for cleaning out the tent, ie sweep out the open zip and then also good for cleaning if you have had a muddy trip. (loved my zip out floor!!)
Second if its zip in then taking it to an upholsterer to sew in an extra 6 inches or so would be soo easy or they could just make a zip in extentions section, either way would be pretty easy and neat.
I was annoyed at first as my floor always bagged at ground level but after using on uneven ground I understood why...doesnt take much of a slope on the ground to have one side of the tent not even reach the ground!!
This was mine!
You can just make out in the pic, the ground slopes of slightly but the tent side is at full stretch and only just still on the ground despite my slack. It was a great setup, the dark green pegged out but he camo canvas was pegged out on elastic bungees to keep the sides tight and help run off. Old wax canvas heavy but waterproof in torretial, near cyclonic rain...ask me how i know...did drop the awning during that storm! lol
Now this...
Matt.
