Half way thru the stereo install. All that's really left is to splice into the factory loom and find a power source for the amp remote on. Exposed wires protected, power will get shielded alongside speaker cables.

Very small install compared to previous efforts but should also be very clean and maintain boot space with a removable sub if need be. Need to find some new speakers for the roof pod doo daa. Anyone wanna trade me some for my old gear, weighted very much in your favour.

Sound attempt but only for the highway.

Default What have you done to your JK this week?

Use the cig lighter cable, the one that runs off ignition. It only has to toggle a switch in the amp, so it won't be drawing any power!!!

Check Quadratec for some roof pod speakers. Kicker is the brand, and they apparently fit right in.

Nice looking sub box, but I just don't see a need to vibrate my insides while driving anymore. Maybe I'm just getting old

Fitted my newly purchased rubicon sway bar to my rubicon that had a standard jk sport swaybar. Previous owner swapped it as the original was not working

Picked up some coaxials today. Have cut the top of the old cage off to use as an adapter. Not looking forward to replacing the front speakers but that's a job for next month. I don'tplay it loud so much aanymore but it still has to sound right.
