Duly noted fester. I'll install the new muffler this week and if I don't find a bigger flex joint locally I'll order one on the bay. It's the bloody custom duty that sort of puts me off from ordering from international vendors, but we'll see what's up.

I have downloaded Torque for Android to go with the ELM327 module. I don't expect it to work flawlessly on the Jeep, obviously. But I'll also use it on my other cars and hopefully it won't be as useless there. I have read on the South African Jeep forums however that it might be good for live data and resetting the MIL on the Jeep. It will not show the codes, but will clear them once the faults have been dealt with. Just some basic stuff. Like you said most diag tools for our Jeeps are out of reach anyway, so this will only be a nice toy to play with.

By the way, is your CRD remapped alfaitalia? One reason I'm considering the Citroen seals is because of the remap...

I did not take pics but used this thread from elsewhere....my pics would have been the same!!

Mine is not remapped but until recently I was using a TDItuning CRTD2 box which had the same effect (207 bhp and about 500nm torque). But I was not using the extra power, it made the EVIC mpg reading miles out and I was using slightly more fuel so I sold it!

Hey alfaitalia, thanks for that link. Looks like a neat job, great tuto as well. About your tuning box, is that one of those boxes that fools the ECU into injecting more fuel? I'm not an expert on the subject, have had bespoke remaps on some of my former cars and recently did my mate's defender like I said before, and never had a bad experience. Tuning boxes on the other hand seem to have more conflicted reviews if I'm being honest.

Fester, I got in touch with GDE about their remap and Keith said he could probably disable the swirl motor. Could you please expand a little bit about what you meant by "break boost cut" however?
