A slight segway on the remote key. Although I have two original remotes, I wanted a further emergency spare key to at least open the door and start the car. I purchased a 'generic' blank from the local guys at Mr. Minute. They needed my Jeep key to cut the blank key and program it to unlock the door manually and to operate the ignition - no remote door opening. The key works perfectly as designed and cost me $116 which I thought was not too bad.

I believe ( although have not tried it on the WH) that if you have 2 working keys you can program a 3rd one into the SKEEM without at scan tool.
