Pics as promised.

I also had a thought this afternoon about the Tech Pack influence. With the auto braking the pedal would not pick up but the brake lights do light so they are seeming to be the ideal source.

If I find any issue with the Velcro (though that's what held it in the Wrangler for 5 years) then I will simply set up a nut behind the panel and use thumb screws to quick attach.

Today I ran the wiring through to the rear. Ran some twin down the drivers side inside the cab and tucked it under the door trims all the way back then inside the rear quarter trim. Had to pull out the spare wheel well to get to it all.

In the rear quarter I found the blue wire from the trailer connector and soldered up to that, then through testing located the brake light wire in the tow harness in the same loom and hooked into that for the trigger.

All tested and working great. Also good thing about using the brake light wiring is it will activate the trailer brakes when the computer activate the brakes.
