Default Diffs Gears

HI guys I have a 2015 Rubicon Unlimited with factory 4.11 diff gears.
I run 35" tyres and am looking at changing diff gears. I tow with the car so low down torque is important to me. My main is question is if I change to 4.56 diff gears will it make a big difference on drivalibility. Around town it seems to go alright but sluggish with the boat on the hitch. What is everyones thoughts.

What are you towing? I didnt think the JK were rated for big boats and the like.

Go 4.88.. 4.56 is not a big enough increase to warrant the cost imo

You won't see much gain in moving up from 4.11 to 4.56.
If you really want low end torque, you may as well go up to 4.88 but fuel consumption will definitely rise.
One thing thou, neither gear ratio will help you much in towing your big boat as that's way over the limit of your JK already.

obviously 35's arent gonna help the low down torque either

you could get a set of smaller wheels with cheaper tyres especially for towing
that will alter your final drive ratio similarly

The boat is 22 foot and yes I know its over the legal weight.
I have the original wheels so I may use them to tow. I just find I need a bit more power when towing.
The only issue I have with going to 4.88 is that im worried it will be to tall for low range since I have the rubicon with the lower gears.
