just in case anyone is interested i just put my starter motor back in and its working... took it out yesterday and had it sent to an auto electrician that checked it out and found that the two arms that push the "spindle" out to engage the flywheel had come loose... said it was quite dry in there so he lubed it up , reattached the two arms and as good as new.. for now at least .. total cost $50
