left and right are different and so is the AC evap core.
And yes you will have to dump the gas.
Check your ac core at the base were it sits on the foam.
look for pitting and discoloration any black marks, then replace it as well.
Too big a job pulling that dash out and just ding one.

I actually reckon I could do with out the heater. If mine went again, I'd just bypass it and forget about it. Especially if your seat heaters work, you dont need the heater core I reckon.
good luck with it.
Doing blendoors, really need to replace the servos as well as the blendoors.
Especially the one for the passenger.
The driver servo can be accessed through the glove box.

I've been here before. deserthucker is 100% correct; lhd and rhd have different bent tubes and you must degas the a/c to get the assay out. If doing it yourself allow about 11 hours(thats how long it took me to fumble through my 1st one)
Best of luck.

Default Help!!!

Ok doing my heater core at the moment, 2nd time in two cars for me. This one is really starting to give me the shaits. I've done everything I know of and still can't get the HVAC box out.

It seems to be jammed around where the aircon goes through the firewall. Anyone got any suggestions before I attack it with an angle grinder to cut the fricken thing out.
