Exclamation Xj 2.5 td evry mod

Hi I'm doing to evry mod to my jeep soon

You basically fit a 1k potentiometer in the fule return sender wire of the pump allowing you to trick the pump to alow more fule

Has anyone else done this on their xj?

I ran this mod on my 1z converted mk1 golf and the transformation was incredible

I just want to know what colour wire is the fule return on the xj ?

.
I also plan on running a fmic and a few other mods to keep the egts down

Thanks

Sounds like you are getting mixed up with a CRD. The XJ 2.5 VM TD is not CRD.
Please provide more details & your location.

If you search evry mod on YouTube e you can see

It's a 2000 td cherokee from the UK

if you have a 2000 model, you should have a MAP on the inlet manifold. That is where you need to wire in the pot. The Bosch motor sport web page has the details of the MAP sensor. i have tried a pot on the air output when I thought my sensor was bad. it didnt make a noticeable difference. Why dont you just put a stronger spring on the waste gate controller? An extra 5 psi boost makes a big difference & is an easy mod.

I'll be running a bleed valve in the vac hose to the waste gate

Iv done a little more research
The 1k pot goes between wires 2 and 3 on the pump harness

Thanks for the replys

I'll let you know how it goes 🚙💨💨

its not a vac hose. its the boost pressure. it pressurizes the diaphragm to open the waste gate. A air bleed pressure control valve should do the trick. Make sure you have a boost gauge to keep an eye on things. An EGT gauge is needed to make sure you dont soften the heads.
