Default New key needed - Melbourne

Hi all, I can't seem to find a auto locksmith that can provide/cut/program me a new key for my 07 Laredo in Melb. Can anyone recommend one? What sort of price should I expect?

Look on eBay for a new key and any lock smith should be able to cut it, the problem is programming it i'm pretty sure unless you have 2 keys only jeep can program a new one and it's around $400, but i could be wrong.

I had to buy another key 2 years ago; it was $300 for the key, $35 to have it cut at locksmiths, and about $50 to get it programmed at the local dealer.

Live in the Western suburbs and work in the north... it seems pretty hard to find the key fobs online, most don't come with the electronics, just the case and key itself....

Matty, if you PM me I can give you the names of a couple of guys.

I've personally done an after market remote flip key into an 07 Commander.

Using one of these. Remote & Immobilizer programs at the same time.
