Maybe its because I'm a bit ancient but we have Windows 10 on 3 of our computers and I think its fukin trash. So unintuitive and cumbersome to use.
XP (on my laptop) might be old but its simple to use and IMHO more reliable and just as fast if not faster.
I love new things don't get me wrong but I abhor new for the sake of new and even more when its a step backwards.

I've put Linux Mint 17.3 on my old XP (Vista compatible) Lenovo c200 3000 laptop with a 60Gb H/drive, it seems to go well & takes up HEAPS less room only about 5 or 6Gb. Pity to throw away a perfectly good lappy just because Xp's not supported anymore, just have to get used to the way it does things.

Yup, as they say, that would be "making lemonade out of lemons." Simply, making the most out of what you have.
