Rubber door grommet question?

Does anyone know what those rubber plugs in the inside of the door on 07 wranglers are supposed to do, if they have a name and if I can replace them, as one of mine was pushed into the door cavity by an idiot friend who thought it was the open button.

Cheapest option would be to find someone wrecking a JK and get it that way.

Have you considered just pulling the trim off & getting it out from inside?

Here's a handy guide I used when I had to open mine a while ago. (The lock was disconnected inside the door.) Except that the photos were all on photbucket... but the text is still useful.

Yes, it hurts when the postage is more than the part!

Use the part number to see what they are at your local dealer but my suggestion is to see if someone is wrecking one that you can get it off or as Banshee suggests, just remove the door trim and fish it out.
