Default 2006 WH Transfer Case Compatibility

Hey guys, I need to replace my transfer case. Does anyone know if the equivalent year diesel TC will work (with my 4.7 V or are they a different ratio
like the front (diesel) differentials? Did cross reference my vin with donor vehicle
vin number through Jeep dealership-who identified different part number..though couldn’t dig any deeper to specify differences. Wrecker is telling me it will work. Any ideas? Many Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the crd one is different, you may be able to use one from a 5.7.

Default 2006 WH TC Compatibility

Thanks Green JK for you reply, much appreciated. You are correct, I did check the 5.7 and they are the same part number as the 4.7. Unfortunately at this stage all I can find was the CRD TC that is fairly local. I’m currently in FNQ for the next week with work, so trying to coordinate things from here for my better half who relys on the Jeep for work.

QTII and QDII T/C are an NV245. They are the same across all WH's that have low range, no ratio difference.
