Default TPMS swap to new rims?

Hi guys, probably been asked before but I did a search and couldn’t find anything, I want to put a new set of wheels on the Ltd, but I’m unsure about the TPMS, can the sensors be swapped into the new rims, or can I switch off the system in the car and run without??

I bought a new set of rims ( for all terrain tyres for towing) and also found TPMS sensors online. They work just the same as the original ones. Unfortunately I have lost the ( US ) contact.

I did a similar thing recently

You can reuse the TPMS sensors but the valve stem gets damaged when they are removed from the rims. I tried ordering replacement valve stems but the ones I got were incompatible with the sensors, despite being cross checked with my VIN.

Luckily I also ordered some complete kits (sensors and stems) for x2 spare wheels, plus another 2. These were put in the new rims at Beaurepaires.

I ordered everything from (in the US), they were great and were even happy to swap the valve stems for some more sensors with stems.

Getting the complete set (sensors and stems) is not much more expensive and much less of a hassle.
