Interestingly, I just checked the tool that I have been using. It has stamped onto it "74/76" then a horzontal line and "14" under it. Seems for the cheaper tools, the 76 & 74 are the same. Mine certainly works. I have used it multiple times.

Supercheap have the Penrite Diesel HPR 5w40 10 litres for $79.99 currently so will pick some up in a day or two. Have ordered my filter socket from eBay as well. Will look to locate the Mann filter soon. Getting there.

Hey guys. So the Mann filter is a bit of a challenge to get in Brissie. Jeep want to sell me a Mopar unit which they say is OEM for $33. I did find a Mercedes Van service dept over at Eagle Farm which sells them for around $11 so a much better option. Note you need to give Mercedes an engine number for them to source the correct oil filter as they don't list them by who makes it or what model it is. (Seems a 611 engine brings up the Mann HU718/1. Note they don't have a "K" on the end of it). Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of those on offer on eBay? I found this one; https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MANN-Oil...yR-t#vi-ilComp and obviously having it delivered to my door makes life easy. Any chance it may not be genuine?

I know this one will be genuine, pretty big difference in price though:
