Default 5.7 performance upgrades

Just wondering what everyone has done to the hemi to get more power or better fuel efficiency.

For example cold air intake, exhaust, supercharger, tuner, grounding mod etc.

I’m reading that you get decent Hp gains and better fuel economy by changing the intake manifold and throttle body.

I don't remember seeing many (or any.) posts from someone on here doing much for performance/efficiency on the hemi.

Other than the usual, setting a 'tune' via Superchips programmer or similar, couple of people putting aftermarket intakes (typically just a way of removing the intake resonator.), etc.

In my opinion most gains would be trivial... although I'm a bit cynical about "easy" after-market performance mods in general
The "ECO" Superchips tune seemed to make a ~1-2L/100km difference for me with typical driving. But that is really just smoke and mirrors (reducing responsive'ness, etc.), and easily overshadowed by other mods (big tyres, extra weight, etc.).

Intake and exhaust is gunna be the most realistic.
Stock intake is reasonably good in terms of cold air intake in my opinion, aside from heat soak into the airbox and resonator.

If you're keen on doing something, I recon give the intake / resonator delete a go first. A lot of us will be watching with interest

Having pulled the exhaust apart now I'd say that's a area where there is some improvement to be made, the exhaust manifolds straight up *suck* my AU falcon has a better exhaust setup from factory. I can see why Jeep went that direction though (its so tight in there). As the further you go back in the exhaust system the less impact you'll make don't expect 30HP from swapping out the muffler. Likewise the intake I'd expect some nice improvement in induction noise, but you are going to struggle to move the needle a lot from there as the engine is still pumping against those exhaust manifold.
Think a reasonable bump can be had from a cam (geddit bump) but that starts to get a little more involved.
