Default Driver master switch

Decided to open up my driver side window master switch and re solder the connections as my passenger switches weren't working at all. It fixed all of the passenger switches and i was feeling good... until i tested the driver window (the only one i ever use!) and now that goes down but not back up!

Anyone else run into this? Can't seem to find a new rhd master switch online.

edit - Definitely can't run a lhd version on there

Greetings jcrx another XJ owner good for you What Year?
if the switch is buggered there are a few XJ's being wrecked around online search eBay and Gumtree
You say the window goes down and not back up? if you are sure its the switch search the wreckers for one if the motor is making a noise and the window is not coming up you have a broken Window Regulator Thing

Sorry yeah didn't really explain that too well. Its a 2001 xj. All the switches on the drivers door were working originally, the window switches on the passenger doors were not working. However to fix the passenger door switches you actually have to pull out the drivers door master switch and re solder the connections. This fixed all the passenger switches but broke my drivers door window switch. Every time i fix something, seems to create new problems.

Anyway i gave it some research before posting, the cheapo new amazon/ebay/ali express master switches you can easily find online won't fit in the door panel as the window lock would be on the wrong side. I also read that Jeep don't make the part for rhd cherokee's any more so wreckers is the only option however no guarantee those switches will be in great condition either.

After that i gave it another shot and did a second deep clean of all the contacts with contact cleaner and ear buds, and that managed to do the trick. The contact for raising the driver window is harder to reach and clean so that's why it didn't work. I must've added more dirt the 1st clean to make it stop working.

Just replying in case someone comes across the same issue.
Its gonna be important to fix instead of replace parts going forward as there's less and less xj's left at the wreckers, especially for anything rhd specific.
