Default PCV Oil Leak

Hi All.

Car - 2003 2.7 CRD WG.

So I have an oil leak which seems to be coming solely from the PCV area. See attached image. And there's too much oil for it to be just a weeping type leak. Have not determined exactly what the culprit is yet and would rather not pull it apart and then have to wait a few days for parts. So, wondering if anyone here has had the same leak?

TIA. Indie.

The o-ring has failed or the body of the PVC component is blocked and causing vapour to leak out. This device is a catch-can of sorts so it could be a tad blocked or a hose could also be leaking. Give it a degrease and see where the oil is weeping from.

O-rings and the entire PCV valve can be sourced from Mercedes for cheap. I would get a new one

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've looked through the "Everything 2.7" thread and no part number for the PCV. Anyone have one handy? Note I've also called 3 Point Classic here in Brisbane and will send them some images of the PCV to see if they can match it. Sounds like they are not a stock item. Thanks.

It's the same part as on the T1N Sprinter and should be pretty easy to obtain.

The Jeep Part number is 5080116AA or 05103970AA Separator OIL and the MB part number is A6110160134
