I've had a careful read of the manual. It implies that a key can be re-programmed to the same vehicle. It is clear that it cannot be programmed to a different vehicle, or to a different SKIM. If you need to change the module, you must change all the keys too. This is 100% clear and even in bold font.
The key program procedure mentions getting all the keys from the owner and programming up to eight of them. The next step after getting the customer's keys is erasing ALL keys, then programming them all again. To me, this implies that a key can be reprogrammed to the same vehicle, but not a different vehicle.
Have I read and understood correctly?
