Default DTC after replacing thermostat housing

I've had some cooling issues with my 2014 GC - ODB reported itwas running at 115c.. I took it to the mechanic who diagnosed that I had a crack in the thermostat housing. It looked quite bad, the inside of the engine bay was painted with coolant..

The part was replaced, coolant drained, flushed and replaced - and now the car is sitting nicely at 85-90c.

I plugged in my ODB after taking it for a run and noticed I have two codes now;

P0113 OBD-II Trouble Code: IAT Sensor Circuit High Input Problem
U1467 Implausible Driver Shift Request Signal Received On CAN. I tried to clear them with my Veepak ODB monitor, but they return straight away.

Any idea why these would appear? The battery is the car is new as of November - and i recently had the radiator/fan assembly etc.. replaced due to an accident.

Could something be shorting? Any advise on what to look for - im planning to take the car back in the next couple of days.

Thanks!
Andrew

Have a look for the IAT sensor, in the air intake tube between the air filter and throttle body. Make sure the connector is securely seated. I don't know if it's something that would be disturbed when replacing the thermostat housing but from the code I suspect it's disconnected.

The second code I have no idea about. Maybe try cleaning up battery terminals and engine and body ground connections up in case there is something funky going on electrically.

Thanks for the response. Interestingly the codes were gone this morning. I was told by another group that they should disappear after a few restarts... odd.

Thanks!

That's true. If the fault isn't reoccurring, it can still take up to 20 start cycles for the codes to clear themselves.
