Pulled the MAP sensor and EGR tube on my new toy, the EGR tube was oily and covered in sooty crud, a wet oily in fact, and the MAP sensor was as you would expect caked solid with crap as well.
It has obviously never been out in the 100,000kms it has traveled.

My new catch can arrived today too, so that will be going on in the next couple of days...

Yep, he's got a nice little monopoly happenig. Stuart said he sells heaps, so I suppose he's likely to keep pushing the price point as long as they're turning over. He'll soon know when he's hit the ceiling. Can't find anyone else making them in Oz on a commercial basis. Queue any interested entrepreneurs!

Thought that, actually have one to catch the pool from the AC, not because of water stains, I went arse over tit, slipping on the stuff when the place was new and too damn old for that sort of thing now, I don't bounce ............. It does vent a smoky haze and stink like buggery as well, thoough in the Colorado vented into the chassis rail never noticed it.... Stand By a mod may be happening soon... a cunning plan is taking shape.

Hi Jeeper,
Just back from a jaunt through the WA wildflowers and wheatbelt. 2400 klms in 2 weeks and my Laredo has just clocked 118,000 klm. Never missed a beat and so glad I fitted a Flashlube catch can 30k ago. Since fitting it I've had no MAP sensor issues and drain about 40mls off it every 5k.
EGR tube and MAP are now a powdery soot not the oil encrusted crud!
Cheers
