Sadly some of the later diesels imported did require Adblue to meet I think Euro 6 compliance adopted in Australia.
Just another headache for those Jeep owners, sorry to read that John, though there are a heap of Jap 4wd's and European cars that require Adblue as well...

Default So I'm not the only one

I thought I was going crazy. Just Brought a 2019 JCG and was hunting high and low for the DEF filler based on the Manuals from FCA.ca.

If only 1 big hole under the fuel door then No Adblue crap.............. Cut a stubby holder in half and use it to cover the fuel filler point, if the door pops open it will keep a lot of dust from the opening, I proved it once when I must have knocked the dash button, it was full of dust but the filler under the stubby holder cap was clean as a whistle... fuel will also vent from a hole just underneath the filler into the cavity and flow via the drain to ground.
