Drover: Thanks for handy site list that will save me a lot of hassle going forward.
Want to here a funny one?
A friend came over last night with his new Subaru (I think) lamenting the fact that is was made in USA not Japan any more. When seeing off I commented that it had the same shapes on the front bumper as mine. I said you must have the same headlight washers as the Jeep. He said, no this was the poverty pack with no fancies.
I convinced him to start it up and press the windscreen washers - sure enough out popped the little mice that quickly spray the headlights then run back and hide.
I made him come and look and then he says 'Well bugger me!'

Not often I get caught out and I also say "Bugger Me". you must have found your niche in life, the "Washer King" is here......

It can be fun exploring the things you have, haven't, and sometimes glad you haven't on these things................... Most of the stories of horror are because of just crap maintenance and often by those you entrust your vehicle to...... Mine is Grand#3 which surprises me still, 3 Jeeps "Bugga Me" ,okay I DiY mine, always have Cruisers, Landys, Nissans, Holdens and Fords along with a few others, couldn't afford the time or money for mechanics, so had to sort my own , along with mowers and pumps, the odd truck or tractor so no spanner wanker or tool man by a long shot, just a bloke of neccessity, my vehicles have never given major grief other than the usual dramas............. The less I have to do with spanners the happier I am, all my vehicles have been told if they give me too much grief, there may be early Cracker Night (Old farts will know Cracker Night) they have all been wonderful chariots.............. everyone talks to their horse's, don't they ?????
