Nowadays drowning means they are knackered, too many circuit boards and canbus connections to ever get at to dry out fully, moisture condensation will mean things will start to fail weeks and months down the track, Jeeps and Cruisers even Landy's aren't immune to a good drowning not like the old days, drain all fluids, change filters a bit of kero in the pots and away you go.... we even drained the oils, let them sit and carefully drained off the oil as we didn't have enough for the diffs and gearbox....what water left got evaporated on the way home, air dried the alternator along with the seats sitting out in the sun................... lots of fun thankfully not my truck ..... plus we rescued the goon bag from some bush hanging in the creek so win,win.....
