Well Supercheap have 10lt kegs of Nulon Apex+ 10W40 for $83.99, certainly not passing that up .... once again the full drum I thought was on the shelf wasn't, so nearly got caught again as service is due in a week or so, only 600klicks to go, would have really peed me off having to pay $120 or more .................

The 10lt keg of Apex+ 5W40 diesel C3 spec is $98 up my way...... yet the 7lt seems to be not on special so is more $$...

Repco have Penrite Enviro+ 10W40 Diesel API CJ4/ ACEA E9 full syn on special as well for $101.25 for a fe wdays.

Thats not too bad a price at all thanks drover...my favourite drop. As I wanted to change the oil prior to heading to Hervey Bay with the van and then to Bathurst, I had to pay Supercheap close to $15 a litre for 7 litres! I had 5 litres "in stock" so was able to top up to 7.6.
Got back from the 12 hour last night...the Jeep ran superbly as usual, returned me average 11.4 litres per 100km at average 110kmh. (keeping in mind the bullbar, fat mud tyres, roof rack, awning & snorkel to mess with the airflow)

Thats pretty good for a solo run with the Howlers on yours, mine would do about 10 .......................
So an average of 110kph, that would mean your speeding then .......
