I've been looking at doing a similar thing so I can take that cover off...I wonder if wrapping those exposed washer lines in aluminium foil would help?

I was considering doing that around those air bag elbows on top of the suspension tower that are vulnerable...

Gave the ride a very good wash just before the storms started and most importantly tried out Meguiar's Endurance Gel tire shine. Can vouch this stuff is really good and lasts even after a few rains! Was hating my tyres going brown after every few days of washing. Apparently this stuff lasts weeks.

Most of you guys are posting your Jeeps on rough terrain, camping and most importantly dirty but here you go this is what a pavement princess GC looks like haha. Still does fair amount of light towing and shit load of daily driving lol

I like that shine, mine came up like that when i washed mine while the Son in Law was away and I used his liquid gold Bowdens stuff, I haven't been able to manage to buy some myself, my wallet has a siezure at the price..............

I use the Woollies tyre stuff $5, good for around town but the red dirt gives it severe curry...........

Thanks Drover yeah I can imagine it would be really hard to keep up if you have to drive on red dusty roads though. I know Bowdens makes some good stuff too haven't tried their tyre stuff. I think the good ones just creates this seal which lasts longer. This stuff is applied with an applicator pad too so no overspray and wastage. Quite thick gel and very little gets used every time so apparently people could use one bottle for ages. Expensive at start but can use for long. Got tired of cheapo spray cans that only lasts for around two rounds and the tyres not staying shiny for long either. Didnt want to spend this much on it but seriously wanted to give it a shot for ages.

Next on my list of cosmetics is to get the front two windows tinted as they are clear at the moment. And the woman on the phone now confused me by saying the rear privacy glass on our cars is just a black coloured glass and has no UV or heat protection bla bla. Now I am thinking should I tint them rears as well or just get the fronts done. I really didnt notice anything about the rears not having heat rejection and my previous car had the same privacy rear setup too. Never bothered tinting on top lol
