I had the W58 done on this Jeep, hope it doesn't ever let me down out in the boondocks with the van on!

I would say its a Dealer reply, I dpn't think FCA wants to stir up another hornets nest besides the W58 covers any attempt to skid from under......... Stellantis has enough with the US cases before courts.
I try to supress those thoughts whilst wandering, having been out in the boonies for the last couple of weeks and nearly home I had emergency plans in the back of my mind................. and a box of matches.....

Both the W58 and W 68 are US govt mandated safety recalls! For the same problem! The recall W58 was to just re route the failed crank signals through the camshaft timing sensor. In many cases this hasnt worked so the W68 recall was instigated which then involved removal of the auto etc and a new tone wheel fitted! The years for this were extended from 2012 to 19,! In fact if you go onto Jeeps Australian govt recall site you will see the W 58 only, however this tone wheel recall covers export vehicles as well.My mate wanted the W68 done Jeep dealer said no, you will have to pay ,he went straight to Stellantis and shoved the W68 TSB under their nose ,threatened legal action ,tone wheel replaced foc!
Google Jeep W68 tone wheel recall recall for the info

UPDATE
Service center put in a request for goodwill which has been denied.
I am going to put a claim in myself including the following information.
W58 recall done, W68,W90,X95. Any advice would be appreciated on the best way to proceed.
If i can not come to a agreement with Stellantis will go to dept of fair traiding.
Thanks
