Piece of cake. I changed mine already 4 times and I did it alone. But OffroadSpike is right, its pretty heavy. I typically remove the steering column first and then remove the pitman arm. It depends a bit if your new one is coming with its pitman arm installed or not. If not, you need to make sure that that you find your middle somehow and re-install it. You might need to seperate the the tie-rod end from the steering link from the pitman arm too, just to be sure you find your middle ground.
To remove the tie-rod a ball joint or tie-rod separator tool will come really handy. You can get them off eBay. Just make sure you do not destroy the boot of the tie rod elsewise this will add to your fix.
Removing the pitman arm can be a pain in the butt, if it is pretty rusted on. So I'd might remove the entire box and then use heat and persuasion to remove it.
