Do they think for a minute that I will buy another Chrysler/Jeep product in the future? They don't care. My biggest regret now is paying the Wanneroo Jeep Stealer $1030.00 today. I will never have anything to do with the "stealer" ever again and will order parts from the USA direct myself. Have had a few shops quote me now. One will replace the camshaft with a "billeted camshaft" (whatever that is) and Trail Hawk lifters for approx $10,000. Other quotes are $8000 for standard lifters and camshafts. Will have to decide if I will keep the vehicle for 2-3yrs (standard replacement parts) or for 5-8yrs ("upgraded" parts). Anyway, will have the car towed on a flatbed from Jeep Wanneroo tomorrow to home / garage and then continue to ring around for prices and advice before deciding what to do. One thing is for sure, I will NEVER buy a Chrysler/Jeep product again!

Just be very carefull of what parts are going to be being put in a rebuilt motor!
1.NB ,If they state that they will use Hellcat lifters used in the Trackhawk Grand Cherokee to stop the problem ,these non mds Mopar lifters are used in ALL hemi motors and still failing.! So they are talking bs.
2.It is the lifters that are failing for whatever reason, so a billet camshaft and
aftermarket lifters does not guarantee any more more longevity than Mopar lifters!
3. Isky Cams in the US ,state after years of research that there is no real
fix for lifter failures !Although they have put out a solid bush lifter that appears to last longer!
4.You are correct in stating that FCA are well aware of these engine failures and are replacing motors in vehicles where owners have put the acid on them!At least
notify Stellantis and ask why are well serviced hemi motors are failing!
The only plus is only up to 20% will fail! Why !
