Like you found Adrian D, I'd say a fair bit of that comes from TCU mods.

Who knew a TCU would be more interesting to play with than an ECU...

Are you using the same ramp and adder maps as in my initial tune? Or did you increase the values there?

All untouched. Only just started messing with 4-3 torque reduction today, but that was for low throttle comfort, not performance. Made a nice difference.

Being so close to the 8's, I might do something with the 1-2 torque reduction. Go another 100 or 200 rpm on the 1 and 2 change, and bring the ECU torque response up to match. If I can hit 8.99 seconds, I'll call it done.

You can drop torque reduction a bit but it's all connected, less torque reduction might mean a slower shift. Are you losing a lot of boost on the 1-2 shift?

No real boost loss. Quick recovery. I can feel the torque reduction though. It is felt on both 1-2 and 2-3. About half a second after gear change the power increase is noticeable. Makes for a smooth shift and clutch care, but might help with the little bit I am looking for. If I get slower shifts, then can I just mod the adder? Have you played with "Ramp Torque"?

Just early thoughts on ways to pick up 0.25 seconds.

All the magic is in ramp torque and adders, you could try more aggressive ramp torque values for the 1-2 and 2-3 shift, to still have some empathy on the clutches
