I was wondering if anyone has had a look under the bottom lip of the boot door. mine has what seem to be drainage holes and the holes go through 5mm of what looks like fiber glass... is that right?

as far as i know the pre 97 back doors are made with fibreglass how much i'm not sure as i have a 99 and it all metal as you can tell by the dent in it from a tree i hit trying to move out the way for jimmyb on the 7 mile diggings trip.

if you need to know something ask Gojeep he is pretty good with all that jeep stuff..

Yep the whole tailgate inside and out ( it is double skinned ) is fibreglass up unto mid '97 when the new model came out. Also the nose cone and radiator support panel plus the vent panel at the base of the windscreen is also fibreglass.
