I guess it would also depend on the tyres & wheels that you have. I ran some BFG MT 31/10.5/R15s on the stock steel wheels, and had no trouble, no rub at all. Some 31s are only 30.5 or so, and some I'm sure are more. If you run rims that sit further out, your may have more problems.

Best thing is get the tyres you want fitted then usings opposing car ramps flex it out to test and if you need to lower the bumps stopps you'll see & by how much.....

Suggest you start with a shifter & T55 bit....This lets you unbolts the lower link bolt.
Its' not mush harder/slower than QDS....Then decide if you want to lift etc and then get your discos....
