Default BUNNY HOPPING!!!!

Yep most efi cars start off at high idle revs which can make for a lurch on stall recovery starts but I think Wolf is just finding the accelerator too soft - as Z said its the weak return spring on the throttle which allows your foot to bounce on the accelerator in the rough stuff.

Possible solutions
1. shorten the spring
2. fit a secong spring in parallel (I did this)
3. install a hand throttle (I did this too)

Hand throttles rock!

Yeah the old acclerator pedal is very touchy! I've been meaning to fit a hand throttle for ages! Just haven't gotten around to it yet, still on the "To Do" list. Only downside of a stronger or shorter return spring is on long trips. If you don't have cruise control you'll have to put that much more pressure on the pedal. And it could become very tiring on the right leg. I'd go for a hand throttle. Drop Gordo an email.

Until you get your technical fix try putting your foot hard up against the side wall. Keep the pressure on sideways and your foot should be a fair bit more stable on the pedal.
