I have (err...sorry "had" ) the Maxxis Buckshot Mudder 245/75/16's on my WJ with the 2" OME kit. I know of the same size tyre going under standard suspension...but it depends how sagged it is. My rear suspension was so shagged that with the 40mm OME lift, I got a 75mm lift on the driver's side...but that's not what you're asking so I hope this helps a bit anyway.

Coopers have a 17" AT/R available for the WJ now.. You may have to pressure your tyre dealer to get them in.. From what I remember they are about $249 each and come with the 50,000km warranty. The tested them on a fully loaded nissan navara from the east coast to west coast and back again. Based on the rubber usage and x-rays done by coopers when they returned they estimate about 70,000kms. So all you Grand Drivers complaining there is no ATs for the 17 inch wheel. Go get some (that includes you dad, "Tricky")

Yup, running the cooper 245/70 R17s on the WJ and love 'em. Not noisy on-road and hook up nicely in the dirt.

Having trouble finding a dealer that can calibrate the speedo though...
