Hi Guys
I have had my Classic for 2 years, and just one thing is slightly annoying. That is a tendency to drift slightly to the left. The road camber afects it ,but even on a flatish road, tyou can feel it. I have had it wheel aligned, and all sorts of advise was given, including a new steering box,to fitting eccentric ball joints. I have sort of got used to it,but any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
had it re-alligned etc etc. Took it to a steering specialist who had a good look at the car and couldn't find anything mechanically wrong with it so his only conclusion was to change the tyres.
He had one car in that was almost doing donuts the pull was that bad, they spent two weeks trying to get to the bottom of it, put new tyres on it and the problem just dissapeared.
I'm looking on putting a set of coopers on so I'll let you know if the tyre change made any difference on mine.
