Default hello

Thought I'd better introduce myself

I just bought my first jeep about 8 weeks ago, a red 2005 TJ. My husband has a Grand Cherokee, and I will swap occasionally (if he's nice to me)

I've had all the usual problems with the fuel cap, fuel economy, muffler coming loose the first time we took it off-road, plus jeep sent the wrong doors, and then took off half the paint when replacing them with the right doors Now the passenger door is warped, and doesn't always lock

It's a good thing I love my jeep despite all the probs.

This forum has been a god-send - especially when the fuel cap wouldn't come off. Thanks to you guys I don't come across as a know-nothing girl

I ordered full doors but got half doors.

I prefer the half doors, but I have 3 kids I cart around, plus I do a lot of longer trips. Trying to zip up the windows at 100kmph on the freeway in a sudden downpour aint easy!

In this case practicality won out over fun
