Gildo, 7 tools for $95... yeah I know and I wouldn't expect them to last if used daily. But I expected more from one of the name brands of the no names.

When we were cutting the tube for the cage last year - my expensive makita fizzled....and that was going as slow as possible and lubing as we went.
Also had similar heat issues when I was holesawing the chassis for the RELA.
Even the new 2speed Roybi I now have gets hot when running very low speeds - whereas the airdrill jus seems so much easier.....I dunno - maybe it was the new tool thing, but I was far happier using it that the electric units.....

Hitachi cordless rattle gun $600 but it is a very strong compact gun.

KC short series spanners, there very short unlike other brands, $30 for 6 I think.

proto spanners there thick and dont hurt your hands.

GMC $100 compressor done heaps of work and is still going.

Agree with wooders about vice grips, only buy "vicegrip" vicegrips other brands will either twist so the jaws dont line up or the teeth wear down and become useless.

Cheapo 12v Impact wrench $40, takes the wheel nuts off so much faster than by hand. Very hand for swapping from road tyres to offroad tyres, back when I bothered.

2.5 t hydraulic floor jack a bit like this one cost me about $100 from super crap auto. Love it.

Stick welder, $100, worth every penny.

Leatherman or similar... Get a good one, not a $20 copy. Save many broken knuckles, stripped bolts and burred screws.
