I noticed a big difference with the K&N but I had the exhaust and chip installed first. It seemed to have no effect on economy but it made a big difference on the bottom end power

What a good sevice can do - Just serviced the WG 2001 with emphasis on changing all oils incl diffs with synthetic oil (not cheap) my fuel economy on my recent trip to mid coast from Sydney resulted average 11.8. Quite good as I was sitting on 110-120kph. 2 weeks before it was around 13 for a trip Sydney to north of Wyong (mostly highway).

What oils did you use? I guess with Suburban closing I am going to look at doing my own changes etc (that is if I can overcome my inherant laziness & find some time).

Can't remember the make of oil but I bought it from AutoOne it's 75W140. One litre is about $30. I hope that helps.

What's this story about Suburban??? Are they moving or what? Cant say that I have used them though...

What did you use in your diffs?

In regards ot Suburban, I probably should have said closed (not closing) as they have gone into recievership. There is another thread with more details in the wrangler forum (I think).
