I had the same problem. replaced the water pump also thermostat went to my local repco think pump was about $155.00 about $15.00 thermostat also repalced all the hoses the same time and belts she runs like a gem untill see my other post went to ford today looked a new f250 i know how pi**ed off you are but i have had so much help just reading the fourm
Running at a 100 is NORMAL. The fan is not even meant to come on until 105.
Keep us informed on the electric water pump Grant. Thought about it many years ago when Davis Craig first brought theirs out. But I asked if it could handle being submersed like during a river crossing and the engineer said they would not recommend it at all. The Mustang forum fitted one and did dyno tests before and after. They would not say what the results were but did say they contacted Davis Craig for an explanation of the results to which they threatened to sue if the results were published! There are far more on the market now a days and popular with the drag crowd.
