Default Head rests

Is it just me or are the head rests welded to the middle row of seats? The one in the middle middle seat blocks 80% of the view through the rear window - I just want to take them off!!!

I know it is a small thing, but it really ****'s me!

PS - it is only this and taking the tow hitch off that annoy me about the beast - so if these are the worse things, then I am happy with it!

When we got ours, I just assumed the headrest would pull straight out, like in our previous car, so imagine my surprise when there is no way that thing is coming out. Anyway, it has taught me a lot about using my side mirrors - lucky they're gigantic.

Technically, they're "head restraints".

But, I agree, it's very strange that Jeep made the centre "head restraint" permanent. I nearly burst a vein trying to get the bastard out of our demo. Then I checked the Owner's Manual....duh

They also dont seem to allow certain child restraints/seat to fit very well to the back seat. Very annoying.

SalesGuy - can you use your immense influence and get it fixed! Cheers.

but that's not much good with 2 kids in the back who want to use the drink holders..... now, if they put drink holders in the back of the middle seat for use with it lying down, that would be great.

Here here... I spent hours looking for the drink holders! I knew there were there somewhere but with the seat down - couldnt find them!
Plus with the seat down, all the stuff from the boot slides straight through.

Ahh well, I will just have to tow the van again this weekend in comfort and use the side mirrors anyway
