According to the latest issue of 4x4 Aus the JT is going into production and Australia will probably be the first market to receive it! They have spy pics and all, it comes with a truck cab roof option or a full length roof like the jk unlimited. They will have the same engine/powertrains as the JK, manual and auto, leaf sprung rear suspension and its only a two seater with a 1524mm long truck bed. Exciting stuff, I now have a bee in my bonnet!

just found this!

Yep, I've been watching this ute thing for a while now.
IF it does come to Aus, I'm gonna go into debt!!

I don't use my back seat anyway.

I love they way it looks kind of old, but with modern running gear etc..

gimme, gimme, gimme, I want one now!

I read somewhere that the colour of the beige one is called "hearing aid beige"

Don't think that name will make it into production!

I agree totally with both you and RockyOne

I reckon I would sell my TJ in an instant for one of these (4x4 ute on 35's from factory!!) but maybe not in hearing aid brown. GO RED

Guess we will have to wait and see what they start selling them for huh EJ
