I love your neck of the woods stockobob, oh and as a previous owner of a 4.2L petrol GQ lwb with 35's the petrol jeep chero or tj are pretty close in the fuel stakes but you feel so much better driving in a jeep.

Hi CherokeeXJ95,

I have really been scratching my head looking at a replacement to such a capable 4wd in the SWB 4.2 petrol GQ Patrol. Perhaps that is why we have kept it for 17 years. It has been a great vehicle, got us to where we wanted & never let us down.

Over the years I have always been interested in what new 4wds are on the market & have kept pace of what's there.

I think we are blessed to have such a top beach which is so accessable right on our doorstep. Glad you enjoy it as much as we do.
