Thanks for the info guys--- got the car back yesterday---still missing---fuel consumption--- I dunno yet--- as they did some work on the throttle body--fuel pressure test and I dunno what , in fairness it seems to be running a little better , whatever I'm stuck with it till the new year so I'm just going to have to x my fingers , I may be cynical but in my experiance this type of thing dosen't just "fix itself up".
I have been told that this missing is normal ? do others with a low K's 06 have the same situation---slight but very annoying miss at idle that is--??
I downloaded the 06 workshop manual he he 2800 or so pages took 4 1/2 hours (don't have broadband) cost AUST$27---and in case anyone is interesred I can now inform you with complete confidence that the primary coil resistance on a fuel rail for an 06 is--between 0.71 and 0.88 ohms --so there------exactly the same as a 00 TJ ----this must be an extremely precious secret as christlurk denied the specifications existance , it is to be found on page 455 of section 8I.---so there--

I have a 06 with the 6 speed, 4" lift 4.11 gears on 32's, plus a lot of other gear. I run a K&N with out a problem. I get about 410km per 65L. Just turned 50000km and the last few 1000km I have the same miss at idle not all the time but here and there it feels like its going to stall. I am due for a service and new plugs hope that fixes things.
PS: I have the same 2800 page manual, now I need to grow a plantation of trees so I can print .

Ah Ha thanks for that --so I'm not Robinson Crusoe with the miss thingo--did yours just come on or was it there all the time and just flared up as it were ? mine's there all the time-- but not to the degree of feelin like a stall , it does however "stumble" on acceleration sometimes--I changed the plugs -it didn't fix it , along with new oil & filter and air filter , mate I'd be realy gratefull if you could post the fix if they find it , mines been in and out of the dealers twice , 9 days offroad --and still no fixee--I've got the "but theres no code " my answer is "I don't care--the cars missing , there's no code for a flat tyre iether it don't mean the tyre aint flat". it's going to line up to be a major stoush if I'm rooted around much more--which I realy don't want--but if I have to I will.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah "the manual" 6 reams of paper and I calculate about 3 maybe 4 ink cartridges @ $50 each round about a $200 to maybe $300 jobby I wonder if there's a specialist print shop around that will do one offs and how much they'd charge ??????
