So who was Kept up by the Truck horn
Apparently one of my mates took his Truck (Minus the trailer) in "sports mode" or "bob-tail" mode, what ever ya wanna call it...

Oh yeah and some low-life scum bags, Took another mate of mines "ice-box" esky, Full of grog!!!

He went and seen Security and....
Apparently the cops were called out to take a coupla blokes in, they were found with a ute tray full of "lightforce" lights and UHF aerials, obtained from Spectators rigs. Now thats LOW!

Great weekend...

Black Betty won the Jaw Breaker! Only truck to finish it I think. They did well on the night stage (finished it), and got to the 90 point mark on the Mini Wiraba before the red mist decended and Nick put her on her side... broke the rear axel.

We pulled the axel and welded it back up, got her back in action - well, we thought we did. Driving to the next course noticed that there was still no drive to that side. So we pulled both axels and the diff centre (now this was a mission - spreading the diff to get the centre out was crazy had). Pulled the detroit locker apart and it was completely exploded. Took a few of the 'important bits' and welded them all back together. Took about 6 hours flat out I think.

Big thanks to the Gonads and the ABT FireTruck crew, the guys from run amuk, Harley, and all the folks who helped get BB back in action.

BB dropped into the mud and the rear diff exploded again! They managed to get 40 points in front wheel drive only, but that was the end of the weekend. Even with missing 5 stages they came in 25th over-all.

FireTruck ended in 11th, after alot of breakages... untested setup and Gonads behind the wheel - very entertaining. The crew worked tirelessly to keep her on the trails (and even to get there in the 1st place!). Looking forward to seeing her when she's all tuned and tested...

I have a fair amount of video that I will edit and post up - hopefully within the next week or so.

S.
