Well I have taken the Creepy Crawlers for a maiden run. Took a while to get the street pressures right but I think I have it now. Flexy also provided me with some of that auto balance compound and surprisingly it works. Went out to Gisbourne so I ran them up to 115 kph for a good 40 minutes and they were fine. A bit of a shake at 90 to 100 but onroad they seem to perform good enough. I am running them at 18psi and although they still have a rounded tread (more than I would like) they have settled well. Willtake them down a little futher as at 16psi I dont think they will bag out at all. They havnt yet. They have a very strong side wall very similiar to the bias claws I ran before. For street I rate them an 6.8 out of 10. As for offroad I rate them better about 8.5 out 10. They performed well on the flat fast slippery surface. Cornering at speed i could keep the Jeep online well. If I wanted to throw it around a corner for a bit of sideways action I could if I tried hard enough but it seemed to want to grip and take off more than slip off like the old stupid claws. Climbed well on the loose dirt the side lugs proved themselves in the ruts letting me climb out easy enough. Through the bog i could try to get myself bogged but it wouldnt work. Keep in mind these are brand spanking new and might no perform as well after a few thousand k's.
All in all I am happy. Thanks Flexy for a good deal.
