Default Power Windows - Different Problem

Hi there,

I have a 1996 ZJ (or ZG as they are called in Aus) Grand Cherokee Larado with a power window problem different to most I can find.

The Passengers Side Controls all Work Perfectly.
The Drivers side Controls (front and back) have an issue.

I can control the Passengers Windows fine from the drivers master control, but neither the drivers master or the rear controls will work properly on the drivers side windows.

When you hit the button to wind down the drivers side windows (front or rear), the window goes down about an inch and stops, click it again and its another inch and so on. Same goes for winding them up.

This happens on both Front and rear drivers side windows controls.

Pulling the 50A fuse does nothing to fix it. Although once i hit the button and the window went all the way down, but would not go up until i reset the fuse and then wound them up an inch at a time.

I have cleaned all the contacts.
Checked for Broken wires in the drivers door - None
Given the master Switch Unit a clean with contact cleaner.
Tried the Window Lock bypass

None of which have helped. I suspect it may be a broken master switch unit and as of today the Drivers Power Mirror does not work (passengers does though)

any suggestions? Is there a cheaper place to get the master switch/control unit rather than Jeep?
